Whenever we kill a deer, we have fresh liver. Since I am a big fan of 22-250s for does and neck shots(LOL), our organs are almost never damaged. I love heart cut thin slices.

Not trying to start a war about the neck shot and 22-250 thing but just trying to make y'all laugh....

I will eat the heart, liver and kidneys. Fillet them out add salt & pepper, toss on the grill and eat on a tortilla with a pickled serrano.

I have never tried it, maybe I need to start. Sounds like I am missing out.
