Doe and fawn @ 15 yds. She will alert if he is coming. Pin lights on she is alert. Something is coming.
I was typing this at 7:16pm now the rest of the story.
He came in at 7:16 settled in by 7:20. I drew but he heard me. He moved off before I could find my peep.
Maybe in the morning. He knew something was up.

He is a giant. Largest free range buck I have ever seen while hunting. He had one buddy with him this evening, the smallest one. The wind laid about 6:30 and I knew then it would be tough if he showed.
I was praying for a train to come by and hide some of the noise.
First time in a long time I have had one put my heart in my throat.
I am exhausted.
Good hunting to everyone tomorrow, hope you score.
Back in the stand at 5:30am to try again.

Going lights out, he came in this morning at 7:12am and stayed till 8:19am. Eating corn, nibbling on fresh shoots of wheat and oats and working on my mineral lick.
Hope to have good news in the morning.

Walked in by moonlight for a mile + this morning, did not fire up the noisy diesel. Arrow knocked and ready for daylight. Good hunting to all this morning, hopefully we will be sharing success stories.
