Hi Rick, I wanted to thank you for allowing me to come out and hunt Wednesday afternoon. You were extremely nice and the damage the hogs are causing to your pasture was obvious. I would expect, as you indicated, that once a few hunters get on them, that should move them out.

Setting: At approximately 5:30pm I sat in a make shift blind about 100 yards away from the feeder. At 7:00pm about 8 or 9 hogs came trotting out of the woods and didn't stop until their noses were rubbing the corn.

Result: 7:04pm - Hog Looses Battle With a 150gr Cranial Implant.

Distance Traveled: The same as the measured inches from the hogs chin to the dirt below it. smile

I'm new to this and would attached a picture if I could figure out how. Good luck!

Okay, I finally figured it out. Here's a picture of the pig that bit the dust Wednesday night at Rick's. I know a lot of todays cameras are advanced but my phone camera wouldn't remove the red eye. smile

Enjoyed the hog hunt Rick. No hogs at that feeder last night, but was still a good time. Deer did come to the feeder last night. I had a drive home, so cut out a little early. Hope I didn't mess up the other guys out there.

Nice place you have.
NV sure would of been nice even though the moon was very bright. I set up fine for the day, little far for the night.

Hey Texas_Ram if you use hydrogenperoxide it will give him some pink eye. I may have to give Rick a call since I live about thirty miles from there.

Any problems with predators out there? I can come on weekdays in between hog hunts and try to call some up. How big is the place?

Rick - I wanted to thank you again for letting us come out Saturday night (Ron /Black Suburban). Although we didn't see any hogs, we did see seven deer. You could tell that the pigs are there but I think the one being shot two nights earlier had them moved off for a few days. Hope you found the corn that we left (forgot to give it to you earlier).

If you ain't hunting, you ain't living right.

Hey Texas_ram, been doing any good during daylight hours, early or evening ? I am not set up to hunt at night other than a crappy 10 yr. old spot light that burns for about 5 minutes before it dies. I live 35-40 miles from you and would love to come help with the hog problem. let me know
