call me dumb, but how exactly does something like that happen. It takes two people not paying attention. The guy that handed the arrow off and the shooter that let it go. Everytime I've had an arrow come off a rest I could tell it had happened pretty easily. But, lack of experience came in to play on this I think.

After that much damage had already been done I def. would have had someone whip out the razor knife and slice that little bit of my skin on the finger. I bet all the weight of the bow sure held some pressure on that wound. Crazy, oh and OUCH I seen a buddy of mine take a g5 Montec to the bone last year it ain't pretty.

I had it happen to me about 10 years ago. I had shot a 3 arrow group and one of the arrows chipped another. I never knew the arrow was cracked and when I released it blew up. The arrow went in my wrist and out the palm of my hand and stuck in the wood handle of my Mathews. I check my arrows all the time now.
