We have three of the Stealthcams. Don't remember the names but they seem to do well...for all I know...
We have them set up on an external battery and solar panel.

I just bought the Moultre D55IR a couple of weeks ago. It has issues. My old Moultre cams were good. I have 2 coverts and 1 Bushnell. They are all JUNK! They work when they want to work and don't when I need them to.

I bought a Wild Game Innovations Micro 8 IR in June. It takes 8 aa batteries. I put it up in June. I'm still on the first set of batteries I put in it. I put the good Energizer Lithium batteries in it. I average 1200 to 1400 pics a week. Most are day time pics of the sun movement, birds, etc... I have the settings set to be sensitive and it takes multiple pics at a time with a 5 minute interval. The night time pics are good. The cheap brown WGI are cheap for a reason. Those went in the trash. Notice the pic # in the bottom corner.

Truth Cam 46, Primos. Reg $139 but on sales sometimes at $99.00 I second that Mine takes excellent day and night pics, is infrared, and has excellent shutter speed. you can't go wrong wit this one!!

Bushnell Trophy Cams have been junk for us. Want to use them but two bought, two returned. We use Moultrie and have had very few problems. The current M80 is about the best bang for the buck i have seen.
BTW, check out chasinggame.com for all the info you would ever want on game cameras.

Window shopping in the Abilene Academy while the wife was buying shoes and realized there were no Bushnell cameras on display. I asked the fellow working the gun counter and was told in no uncertain terms that they do not carry Bushnell cameras. From the tone of his remarks, someone in Academy seems to have a problem with Bushnell cameras. Other Bushnell products on the shelf, just no cameras. Funny deal?

Sending my Primos TruthCam 46 back to the factory for exchange today. It's only been in service for about 2 months. Did great for about 6 weeks and then just stopped taking pics. I could walk in front of it and jump up and down and it would take a pic but never got another critter in a pic. Put in new batteries, new card, formated car on puter as well as on the cam itself, but no workey. Hope the turnaround is pretty quick. Gonna buy something else to put out there. I needed a couple more cams anyway. Not sure what I'm going with yet. Seems like there's some good and bad reviews of ALL of them. Just a luck of the draw kind of thing it seems like.
