We use to go out to Cedar Creek lake and there were 2 places across the street from each other. Really good and cheap PLUS they let you BYOB so it was a win win.
CRS so the name slips me

Catfish corner in Seven Points used to be great. I haven't been in years though, might have to run up there tomorrow.
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

I don't know of another catfish place right there. I am on the other side of the lake & rarely go over to seven points.

I would have to say Arlene's. I moved from Sherman in '93 and we used to eat there at least once a week when she was across the lake in Oklahoma. Then she moved out on the by-pass between Sherman and Denison...is she still there?
Is anyone on here old enough to remember the time she disappeared and her family reported here missing to law enforcement?
The story is, she had a great weekend run and she cleaned out the register and headed to Vegas for a little fun.
That ole gal was something else.

Wendy is open right across the border in a new bigger place aint the same when it used to be in that ole shack... Not sure on Arlene's thought the same thing happen to them as Garcia's.. Some Asian folks bought them out

Camo goto Windom one night its pretty damn good for 15 bucks and all you can graze. Plus they got this chocolate cobbler and ice cream machine... I dont eat much sweets but ohhhhhhhhhhhh my goodness.
