Sry man... there is 2 things in this world i absolutely can not stand... thieves and liars... people that take what someone had worked their butt off for make me sick I hear ya there brother, there should be a anti trespass law that you can shoot people on sight if you catch them doing unnatural things like this!!

Report it to the Game Warden.
Last year I had a camera stolen on my lease. I mentioned it to the land owner and he urged me to call the GW. I really didnt expect much but since he wanted me to call I did. Well next day two GW's showed up and followed me to the back part of the lease where the camera was and conducted an investigation.
Always mark your items in a way that you can identify them and the GW's can to. My camera was marked in a way that if the GW ever ran across that model of camera he can glance at it and know if it was mine or not. I never heard back from them after they did the investigation (and I never really expected to) but they do take things like that pretty seriously. Its called an OAN "Owner applied number". Engrave your last 4 SS# on it, initials or partial DL # in a place not too easily seen. Most thieves don't expend the energy to look to hard and scratch them out. These turn up quickly in pawn shops and this is a way LE can determine ownership if no serial numbers are documented. The pawn shops have to enter any OAN into their database found on any pawned/sold item that can be checked by LE. Use this OAN on any equipment because you may not have the serial number handy, but the OAN can be easily remembered and given to LE.

Someone got my blind. They left my feeder, but took the blind. Wait a second, feeder, on public land? Where do you hunt? Did not think you were allowed feeders on public land.

NEVER leave anything on public ground! That was your first mistake. It's like leaving your gun in your truck unlocked.

I had a ladder stand stolen from Davy Crockett National Forest one time. I carried it in and set it up one evening and it was gone the next morning. Someone must have seen me set it up. I had it chained and locked to the tree and they shot the lock off. I hate Thieves! same thing happend to my dad and I last year there. he hunted that morning, I slept in. he cam back to wake me up to go hunting. he wasn't gone 30 minutes. we drove to our spot and noticed a white truck with tree stands and we both said cool they have tree stands like ours. walked to dads stand, gone. walked to mine, gone. We are leaving in the morning to davy crockett we will just be hunting on the ground now. too much money and trouble to have our stuff stolen by thieves.

Had a feeder stolen on private property this year. Also in the span of one week, come back to find someone helped themselves to a bonfire on my land. I'm the only person with access to this property.

Had someone cut the timer, solar pannel and take the battery out of an old Sweeny feeder. Sure ruins a hunt. On another hunters feeder they took an On-Time off and dumped 300# of corn to the ground.

So check this out, where we own our land at (about 150 ACRES) theres someone that leases honestly no bigger than 1 acre of land 100 yards threw the woods. Dude who leases that measley 1 acre has it decked out. Im talking two 20-25 ft bow stands, one tree stand, a box blind, 2 feeders and has it planted in oats. So go out to check the camera about a year ago and boom, no camera! All there was was a strap about 10 yards behind it on a fence (fence that also goes over onto our land). So a few weeks later is when i discover his little deer haven, by accident, we were walking on property that a guy next door decided to let us hunt on as well and crossed the wrong fence and we stumble upon the other guys "lease". Look at one of the stands and notice its held up by the same strap as the one we found on our fence line! Coincidence? I think they not but who really knows? I almost decided to cut just enough of the strap to where it would break when he was climbing up, but im better than that, plus we werent a 100% sure he was the culprit. Just my little novel about an item being stolen.

I put up a new ladder stand one weekend and camoed it so good with brush that when I walked about 50 yds away from it to see how it blended in, I had to hunt for it. Went back next weekend to hunt it for the first time and it had been stolen. My dad and I were the only ones allowed to hunt this private property and he was with me so it had to be traspassers that stole it. I hate theives and liars.

Had the same thing happen to friends in Davy Crockett. If you are able to catch them on camera and report to Forestry Service it's a Federal Offense, due to being Federal Lands.
Tends to slow down the thieves when they realize the impact. Spread the word!! and Good luck out there!
