Wow didnt know people took this so dang serious and every now and then academy puts them on sale for 100 plus tax so thats why I said nikon prostaff 3-9x40 just to clarify for you Coyote I hope this meets your guidelines.

We have the Bushnell Elite 3200 3-9x40 on closeout for $129.88 @ Academy right now. I think that's the best deal for a new "quality" optic in a 3-9x.

I wouldn't own anything produced by Simmons in the last 10 years if it was given to me. Most "package" optics that come on "combo" rifles are the Simmons 8 Point.
