You're not helping me! You can only hunt the north end of the lake so saying that means nothing.

Narrow it down a bit. up

Start on the west wing. If you aren't having any luck, try the east wing.

LarryCopper, I don't mean to be rude at all. I was just trying to help out the average guy (that is not one of the 50K a year millionare that DFW is full of). If someone doesn't have a nice lease and was wondering if they should go scout Lavon, Texoma, Cooper, etc... I am just letting them know that there are LOTS of limits to be had on the north side of Lavon. You have two more days to scout before the opener. If this doesn't help you, I am sorry.

Just pullin' your leg man. I've crappie and cat fished those areas enough to know the only spot that could possibly be holding water (and teal) north of the bridges. So does anyone else that has ever been out there, which are lots of the 500+ readers of this post.

If naming spots is your deal go for it. And not trying to be rude either, but don't be shocked if you have plenty of company Sat AM, assuming you're really going and not throwing barney off your scent.

Pittstink, You say you aren't hunting Public ... so why are you scouting Lavon and lying about the thousands of birds you have seen?? Either you think it's funny to stir the pot naming lakes or you think you're smart and are trying to get people to show up there opening day to find a field. Just trying to pizz people off?? I scouted lavon a few weeks ago and it was dry. Drive over the highland bridge and 380 both, you will see it's a field. It hasn't rained since, the water level today is 481.6, that is 10.35 ft low. Highland Park, Bratonia, Twin Groves, Caddo, and Brockdale are all closed. Thanks for the tips, but I'm tired of your douchbaggery.

And there we have the opposite of my approach... direct as can be... rofl

I hope nobody takes him seriously and finds an old creek channel full of quick mud. Literally could cost somebody that doesn't know that lake his life... then it ain't funny no more.
