If I'm not hunting something I must be dead.

To the best of my knowledge they are classifed as a "bird of prey". That is why they are protected likes hawks, etc.
Licenses can be obtained, but tough to get.

Plus 100 on the blackheaded ones being aggressive. Have seen them start on downer sheep before it's dead and have seen them kill newborn lambs.
Might not be able to kill them, but nothing says ya can't put a round right next to them though.

You can kill them but it has to be with the front end of your truck. They will also break your windshield and bend the hell out of your radio antenna.

What surprises me. Is hunters still having to ask this question. I have known that answer since the early 90's. I'm not a hunter.. I don't like killing things that I don't need to....I don't need to eat deer or wild hog..... I asked the question because there were so many buzzards around that I wanted to make sure they didn't mess with my dogs.... So I don't care if you hunt or kill whatever you want, but I really don't have any desire to hunt..

They also make a nice thump when they hit a Lexus at 80 mph. Wow, didn't know they could fly that fast!

Eighties was both tournament fishing and fishing with my three kids. Nineties my wife and I enjoyed the couples tournaments. Don't get more fun than competition fishing even when the stakes or not huge. Now I've found something I enjoy at least as much if not more. Taking the grandkids fishing and hunting. Just watching and helping them enjoy the outdoors is a high folks have to experience to understand. Grandkids think granddads no everything and who am I to bust their balloon.
