My first wife was wearing my overhauls..and picking up Dove for me two wks before our daughter was born..PG doesn't change so much what one does as it changes the comfort levels and some women have tolerance issues...Martha gained about 12lbs w/our dau. and I believe she lost 15 at the birth, so she really never had so much of a comfort issue or wgt problems. Do what feels good and don't get stressed...I have 6 kids and they were stress enough later on..DD
