Keep LYAO you the type of person that the forum doesn't need. I tell the truth on the acres of the ranch and the animals I have. I have never had a person leave this ranch disappointed about the hunt that they did out here. How can you judge me if you haven't hunted with me or heard any bad thing about the ranch?

Dustin I didn't say anything bad about you or your ranch or your operation. My two cents: change the pic, it looks bad. It's like the guys who drive IH 10 with dead deer exposed on their trailers so everyone can see.

A hunt based on only trophies being taken falls far short of what the ultimate goal should be,time to commune with your inner soul as you share the outdoors with the birds, animals, and fish that live there. -Fred Bear

Yeah I do, but I"m not as mad at them as I used to be. I'm particular about what I do now, especially since I moved back to Texas.

Then why do you want to run every other hunter here in the ground, I don't agree with alot of the hf stuff with the wt's but it is what it is and it is legal so I would certainly not bash them for hunting that way, not to say I would give grief about it not being a real trophy but to rip on Dustin over the ram is all the hf exotics are bought and sold and transported from ranch to ranch, you knew damn well that they were not gonna hunt that ram in a box so why even act like you didn't know? And if you don't like Texas then why did you come back? And why not post up a few of the pics of your trophies and contribute instead of jumping on every guy on this forum because they don't see things exactly the way you do.

Mad at the animals. It's a figure of speech. I had a pair of does that I got to eat out my hand. It's never been quite the same since.

BMD, I'm not here to run anybody down. I told you how I got here and then got interested in Luckenbach's thread about quiting hunting. I don't think I ever commented on a hunting thread before that one. Here's the deal and you can take it for what it's worth. The sport is in decline and is facing the same well funded enemies that the 2nd amendment folks do. I'd like to see hunting continue, but if the trend continues as is it's gonna be bad, not only for hunters but a lot of other folks who are involved in outdoor activities. Not only that but the guys that support the hunters are going to suffer as well. Ultimately a lot of bad stuff can happen including private property rights encroachment which many of you guys who are landowners seemingly and should care about. Sooner or later the price point which I've talked about will be reached. Ultimately while hunting is a tradition it's also a business like any other and follows the same hard law of the fittest that any other business does.

I just think there is alot more than $$$$ causing the decline in hunters, you seem to want to point the fingers at the $$$$. I think the youth will be the savior and we have to get as many involved as possible, trust me alot of my daughters friends couldn't believe she would hunt and as they put it kill animals, their thoughts on hinting have zero to do with $$$$! They have never been e posed to it and all they know is what they hear from their liberal parents and the liberal media and these people that support PETA. I will tell you this my one little girl that has a passion for hunting like you can't believe has made a difference with her friends some of the ones they gave her the hardest time about killing animals have now turned the corner and are asking me questions when they come over, one of her friends talked her dad into a hunt last year and took three wt on her first hunt, you can make a difference thru the youth and if you think you can't I feel sorry for you! I am blessed to have a daughter that loves it and is willing to talk to her friends and have them change and gain interest and I will continue to get as many kids involved as I can!

I agree with bmd that it is the youth that will keep hunting going and a tradition. If there is any young kids that want to experience hunting I will be one of the first people that will be there and help make that happen. I have more fun hunting with a kid and there parents than any grown man or woman.

Dustin don't worry about what some ignorant people say.
Leblanc- I think I speak for most when I say I doubt this forum would miss you and your unneeded, less than intelligence posts. This is THE Texas Hunting Forum, so one should be able to post pictures, prices, information, ect....... about the hunt they offer without being ridiculed by people such as yourself. You say the sport of hunting is declining and are blaming it on all kinds of reasons, completely avoiding the fact that you harassing a fellow hunter, outfitter, and forum member has anything to do with the "decline."
Get a life and move on, sounds like this forum isn't for you anyways.
