Hey everyone just thought id give yall an update. Things are going pretty well here the action has picked up a little and it only going to keep doing so. We have been supporting special forces on and off which is pretty cool other than that just been passing the time until I get to come home and enjoy the freedom we fight for. glad you are safe, and thank you.

Been about a month since ive been on here and the days are dragging by slowly. Been working really long days hunting for IEDs and Taliban. We are moving to a new base soon hopefully we will see more action there im getting bored LOL.

Well things are heating up here for sure now that the opium harvest is over and the Taliban have more money. We got hit by 2 IEDs yesterday and then came under fire by some Taliban after doing a dismounted cache and IED search in the groves and villages which sucks when its over 100 degrees outside LOL. We put some lead down range but got out of the area before we knew if we were successful at killing any of the Taliban. Hopefully before too long ill be telling you about a story about KILLING some of these animals. Hope I get a good one.

Having 100 degree temps back here in the Lone Star State...but then again, most of us are not toting around 75-100 of gear and dodging bullets, IEd's and such. Our prayers are with you...

Well ive been in Texas for the last week and a half or so on RR leave from the Stan and its been great. You really never realize how good we have it till you dont have it anymore. Even though it's hot here im loving every minute of it and dreading going back but I only got 5 months left till I come home for good or atleast until the next one. God bless Texas and God bless the USA.

Im not sure who or if anyone will be replacing us to tell you the truth. Last thing I was told is we are training the Afghans to do our job and they will take over but thats a slim chance.

Well I am back in Afghanistan only got 4 1/2 months left and best of all I found out my wife and I were successful in getting pregnant while I was on RR.
