Fellows,

My office atire consists of slacks/dockers and polo/golf style shirt 99% of summer. The shirt is tucked in with a belt. Basically, what is considered business casual these days. What method of carry would work best for that clothing. Without a jacket, I cant fathom a way to carry a decent sized gun. I'm currently trying a glock 19 and kahr cw9.

I'm a big guy. I tried my 1911 and glock 17. I can conceal both, but I am way more comfortable with a wheel gun. I won a charter bulldog in 44 special at work. I like this gun and it is light and accurate. I load it with gold dot ammo. The trick is to make the first shot count!!!

Thanks!!!
Matt

When I was working I wore a Banana Republic photographer's vest for quite a few years to cover a S&W 645 and later a full size H&K USP-1.

When the photog vest wore out I switched to a Wah Wannamaker vest to cover the H&K or sometimes the H&K and a Glock 30 backup.

In the last few working years I just started running with my shirt open and untucked to cover the H&K and Glock. Most days it was the Glock unless we were working the river or gonna serve a warrant. That's what I'm still doing. I can also carry a .380 peashooter that way and nobody know nuttin'.

All my leather came from Kirkpatrick's Leather in Laredo. Good stuff.

Taurus 709 slim or S&W 637 airweight... That's all I think I need.

Wasn't born in Texas, but I got there as fast as I could.

Kel-Tec's are easy-carrying, but I couldn't bring myself to keep a gun that was designed like a cap pistol. The Kahr CW40 is easy enough to conceal in just about any weather, is reliable, and fairly accurate. That's my pick. I always have an XD40 within reach, though, and sometimes it's my primary carry. Depends on the weather.

Glock 19, when it's warm,Glock 20c cooler weather, and hunting season, Ruger SBH .44, or Desert Eagle in .50.
