Beanie Burger at Stanleys in Wichita Falls. Giant burger with chili, refried beans, nacho cheese, fritos, jalapenos, and onions.
Mmmm, heart attack waiting to happen.

Congrats to Pop's Burgers in Fort worth on being voted the best hamburger in the metroplex! There isn't a juicer burger anywhere.

Adairs Saloon, for sure!!! I have noticed that the later in the night it gets, the better the burgers taste at Adairs. I have had the same experience at Whataburger. I wonder why it seems that way

If you are out here in W TX, and between Ballinger and San Angelo on HWY 67 try the Turnrow in Rowena --best burgers around and they also make a mean steak -- all this with some very cold adult beverages!!

You are very right NDN98. Why is that? It's not the burger so much as it is the feel of Adairs. The writing on the walls so thick you can't tell what color it is. The old ripped furniture. The pool table. And Stevie Ray Vaughn always coming on the juke-box!

Coyote Bluff In Amarillo is Great, had the Herds Burger in Jacksboro and it was good but the patties have gotten smaller over the years, there is a grill/cafe in the bottom of the Palo Duro Canyon that has great burgers on sour dough buns, Huts is Austin is really good, Mary's in Strawn they're burgers are humongous and delicious as are Arnolds in Amarillo. The Hole in the Wall in Newcastle is home of the Hog Burger that is mmmmgood! In Graham there are 2 places, Dinner Bell and Fuel Stop/Grill that have great burgers, Storms Burgers aren't bad either. Yep I know I've had lots of Burgers. Have more to add to the list but a better thread may be Where not to eat! I've hada few of those too.

I like Herds and used to eat at CHAP's off of 360. They had a good one as well. Kincaid's is alright to me.

There is an Exxon station on the exit from 287 to go west on 114 in Rhome. There is a burger place in the same building, and they have a burger basket that is unreal! Can't remember the name, but boy is it good!

Schroeder's I think that's how you spell it. Little burger shack in Thorndale area. Best burger hands down. Walk in through the old screen door and sit down for the best and cheapest burger you've ever had. Old man in there been cooking forever passed away I heard. Hopefully the family keeps it going.

Sue's Roost in Eustace has a good buger as well as a good CFS. I've never had anything but breakfast at Sue's. The breakfast is great!
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.
