Im going to attempt to build a ground bow blind and was wondering what some of yours ended up looking like. I am going to build one that is 5x8 that can hold two people comfortably. Windows are what Im needing some ideas on. I shoot a compound and my Grandfather shoots a crossbow....

I use the same design as my gun blind, but add horizontal windows on all four sides. I hinge them from the side and put camo netting inside. I have not done one for the ground though. I just prefer to be verticle.

I built this specifically for bowhunting, I framed it like i would a normal box 6X4 box stand but instead of having solid walls like a typical box, i used millatary netting so i could adjust the "windows" as i needed.
I'm thankful for the things i have and all the things i don't

Are true ground blind. I like it. Gotta watch for Mr. No Shoulders that might come visit but can't get out. Can't wait to see the finished product.
Funny thing about getting older: Your eyesight starts getting weaker but your ability to see through people's BS gets much better.

yep it took me about a total of 8 hours to frame it. and about 4 hrs to get the hay on it. 3 cattle panels some scrap angle iron and 4 sm. bales hay. 1 roll chicken wire. On first day sit my buddy shot a deer at 3 yards.

It isnt any hotter than a ground blind but it is alot warmer in the winter. I put the blind in the barn when season is over so the hay is in great shape. With this blind it can be put out anytime and the deer arent obvious to it at all. I am making several more of them now. I have about $200 bucks in them total and they will last for many seasons. It is based on a 3'6" rad. so inside draw area is 7'. This is really a durable (but heavy) blind. It can be moved by two people to just about anywhere with ease. Also there is no brushing in. I have had deer come and lay right next to it while I scouting from afar.
