The ibex is awesome, I can't wait to get one, definitely next on my list. Sounds like you guys had an awesome weekend, though hunting was tough you are still coming home with 4 great animals.

Thx guys. That fallow pic was taken with my iphone. Thats how close they were. The ibex are tough. Bill hasnt seen them in a month he said. We got one shot at them and never seen them again. There are much bigger axis out there but with the huntin pressure its tough. So I am pleased. Glynn thx for posting pics. We are in San Angelo heading home. Tired still. Lol but worth it.

Just got home. Man what a trip. Glynn has all of the pics that I would have posted pretty much. Great ranch. Bill is a great guide. Blinds are Class A, with desk chairs with arms and adjustable height in them. Fun trip. Would reccommend to anyone. For the "No kill No pay" policy and price....you can't beat it.

Congrats. I'm thinking of booking later on for an Axis and Ibex combo hunt with Koon's Canyon. Trying to finish up My exotic slam. Do you think a guy could get them both with a bow? I am trying to take all 10 animals for the slam with a bow.

Man the ibex would be tough. I never seen them only my buddy did. Bill said he hadn't seen them for a month previous to that. I cant say yes or no, but it would be a tough hunt. Axis, more likely to do that with a bow.

I guess there are only two ibex left out there right now. They are bringing in 5 more.

I know that the ibex tend to hang out on the back side of the property and I would be willing to bet that it would be do- able. When I head out there next year I will be after one with a bow.

I really would like to take all ten species with a bow. Most of the other places I have seen that have "hybrid ibex" do not look near as good as what KCR has in their pictures. Most of the other ranches look more like a random colored spanish goats with horns more straight up, but definatly not what I think of when I think about an ibex.

I agree, their ibex do look great, I really noticed it when I saw them in person. But they are just a dumb goat like many might think.
