Yeah you do that with these. I'm using a 4x4x2 junction box it has mounting tabs on it. What I'm doing is I have a old section of feeder leg drove in the ground about 2 foot and I've got a 60 inch long 1x1 zip tied to it works great. I gpt the wifes lights all wired today so I have is to mask and paint the lights black. Then the lights themselves will be finished. Just need to order photocell switch and wire that up!

Here is a picture of the lights on. Picture was taken from the game camera. As you can see it looks hazy.

Well on both my Muzzleloaders I have Nikon Prostaff 3x9x40's and on my 270 I have a Burris 3x9x40. The 270 was bought as a combo and thought I'd try the scope for a bit before I changed it to a Nikon. So far it's working well.
