Just picked up my meat from Branded S Meats in Jacksboro. I knew I was going to get a lot of meat because the deer was a good mature buck. But they literally processed every ounce of meat on that deer. Filled up my mid sized yeti cooler, igloo king ranch cooler and had to grab my soft golf 12 pack cooler for the remaining. I was very impressed, can't wait to try the German sausage.

Probably already been mentioned but Last Step Deer Processing in Humble Texas. Try their "Paw Paw" mixes. I had heard about their "paw Paw" mixes and was not disapointed after having some pan sausage put together. They guarantee that they use your meat and after checking out their operation, I believe them.

Heck no...brought mine in one time and one time only. When I picked it up, I saw them making sausage and it must had been at least 500 lbs worth at one time. I didn't get my own deer back...take great pride in my skinning and field-dressing and there sure weren't any bones or pieces in the meat I dropped off not to mention hair that was found in it also. Wouldn't eat the sausage at all. If I am unable to do my own, which is usually 99% of the time, I have Granzin's take care of it in New Braunfels, only the sausage though.

Granzin's or The Game Place, or any place else on the NE side? Any recommendations?
