Recently reviewed this product from stakeout pretty cool product holds all models of trail cams. I have mine fixed up higher in a tree angled down over my food plot to get a broader view of the area. So far it works great.

I use my own homemade ones. I set a cedar post or use an existing tree to mount to.

How do you anchor that to the ground, it wouldn't last 2 days at my place.

Might work as long as you have no hogs or cattle. I've got coons that can tear up a crowbar!!

Looks like a good box It looks like you are pretty limited on how you can set them. Looks to me if you drive the tpost a little off, you would have to pull it and drive again till ou get it just right.

To mount our cameras to a t-post we buy the cheapest camera tripod we can fine (I bought one in a garage sale for $2) get a couple of hose clamps and mount the mast head post to the t-post with the hose clamps. This gives us unrestricted left-right and up-down adjustment of the camera.

Thanks. After paint, I am going to line them with some 2" weatherstripping to ensure the camera is secure and dosent move any. Will post more pictures after installation. If someone wants to steal them, they will have to cut a 1/2" cable, a puck style Master lock, and unbolt (3) 4" x 1/2" lag bolts - or just cut down the tree. Either way, Im gonna make it hard for them to steal it.
I had about 3 hours in labor in each and about $20 in supplies for the metal and the hinge.

Better safe than sorry I guess. Cameras cost too much money to allow some thief to roll in there and take away my goods. Next time I build them, I will go with some lighter weight angle iron. I used 1.5" x 1.5" x 3/16" angle on these. A little overkill but thats what I had around the shop.

Old satellite dishes are usually free, and make great mounts. Or I use these when no trees are available.

I built these for the Primos Truth Cam 35 and 36. Can be custom built for other cameras.
