Depends on what you're using it for. I use a streamlight tlr-1s on my rifle for night varmint hunting. Tiny but powerful at 180 lumens and clips right onto your rifle. It's $100, but well worth it and super tough. Otherwise, streamlight has some great handheld flashlights in the $30-$50 range.

Go to ebay ..look up cree flashlights. Some darn nice lights for a very reasonable price. They come from China, but then so does a lot of what we buy today in America. [/quote]

I've been using these cree light for the past year and there great and less than 10 bucks for a really bright light not sure about the battery life but they are AA and AAA

if you are carrying a lot of stuff to your stand you might want to buy a clip on light for your hat. Or you could buy a hat with built in led lights

I have three Fenix lights. My wife has a TK-15 mounted on her ar with a 1-4 Lit reticle scope for hog night. Killer setup, good for 100 yards easy. I think that thing does over 300 lumens for a short period. Drawback is the CR123 batteries but you can buy them in bulk from 4sevens. If i am looking I would at least talk to the flashlight guy. No affiliation but common belief that fenix lights are a good product.
