all trucks are that way you just gotta go with what you have luck with. some people have luck with dmaxs some have luck with cummins and some have luck with p strokes.... just need to stick with what you have most luck with.

1999 7.3 only issue was slave cylinder right after I got great truck
Ford put me in this truck in place of 97
2006 6.0. What a joke ragged motor, no power head gasket, and injectors and turbo had it 23k pos!


Now dodge had two 2003's, 2 2006's, 2009, and 2010. One water pump. Now which one do you think I would buy.

I haven't had one problem with my '08 Tundra! Except when that 4x4 Mule Deer decided to jump in front of it going 70 down the high way 30 miles from the closest town at 1 a.m....

Ive drove two new trucks off the lot and never will again. Bought the truck I have now from this forum about 6months ago and all Ive had to do was put gas in it and change the oil.

I have been there and it sux!

Couple days after, still deciding on what Coilovers to go with and going to add a pretty awesome plate bumper/winch carrier Im working on.

It happened a second time over Thanksgiving 10' but it was at 11 p.m. and it was a black angus that ran across. Same thing though 70 mph crushed the radiator and had to drive 20 mph for about 25-30 miles to the ranch.

I hate it I have hit one in wheeler county, and one between llano and fredricksburg, and was with my brother in Arkansas and hit two in front and one in door.

Doesn't have those fancy wheels or a lift but it does good in the mud. I agree you stick with what you have luck with. Was raised Chevy and have always driven one. I figured I would give Ford a shot a few years back and that lasted about 1 year and it was gone. I like the new dodge but have heard I wouldn't be able to afford to fix it.

Hasn't let me down yet!
