Hi,
I am 49 and definitely show it. I purchased the heli m this season and have been a way better hunter. In fact my hoyt vector is for sale. Having said that I know we are all different. I think the best thing we can do try and see what suits us. What may be right for me won't work for you. I always take a back up bow on trip. This year I needed my back up which is a buck master II . It did the trick nicely. It just shows what the recurve guys already know. Find something that feels good and get lethal with it.

good luck-Jerry
