Welcome! If you have a Savage rifle, hunt hogs with Pit Bulls, shoot deer with a 223, love antler restrictions, shoot Gar with your bow, and use Buck Crack then you shouldnt have any problems makin friends around here.  What about using Indian corn?

Welcome! What about using Indian corn? .....and you MUST drive a POWER STROKE or you are a big loser!!!?  seriously though, many great folks on here and I personally have some life long friends here. Is it deer season yet? We are like Jimmy Buffett's song,"It's 5 o'clock somewhere". It is always deer season here. We spend a lot of time talking and occasionally spend some time shooting. Just like deer camp. :-) I am about 50 miles east of you. Where do you primarily hunt?

I had a lease a few miles north of me in SE Jones County the last few years, but this year we're gonna do some weekend exotic bowhunts on a few places. Bug Scuffle and maybe Diamond C. I also hunt up in Collingsworth County. Welcome!! Your hip waders should come in really handy wading through all the round here. I have chest waders too. I may need those instead of the hippers.

Back atcha! I too just joined the forum, visited with you on the 22-250 page. Hopefully we can both hang out here without too many haters showing up. I see you're from the Abilene area, went hunting up near there once years ago. I learned one thing, when it rains that clay up there is awefull sticky lol! Went on a spot & stalk rifle hunt for a weekend & I was plum wore out at the end. Never had so much mud on my boots in my life! Well I guess I should formally introduce myself as well.....see you round.

Ha! Yeah, don't wear lug soles in the mud around here. They'll pick up about 50 pounds of mud.
