I found that if you run the wires through a short piece of old garden hose, they will leave them alone. Good Luck. Choot 'em in the face!

I had the wires running through a piece of black plastic pipe. They must have hung on it and pulled it out of the barrel. Plus I had wire around the bottom of the barrel and they pulled it off.Chooted them in the face so they will not be a problem any more. Have a guy going to sit at the feeder this morning so did not set it last night. Will start again tomorrow. Last year I killed 17 plus 8 black squirrels here at the house.

Did them "black squirrels" have a white stripe and a funny smell?
