Went on a hog hunt with four buddies last weekend at Pecan Creek's 4 Oaks Ranch in Llano, TX last weekend. Only two of us have much hunting experience and none of us had been hog hunting so Bob our guide was very accommodating. 4 out 5 got hogs and there should have been more, but lack of experience got the best of a couple guys. The first morning Tommy got a 185lb boar with his 308. That evening after watching 3 deer at my feeder for almost an hour, they were run off by a 125lb boar and a 75lb sow. 2 shots and 2 dead hogs thanks to my 270 and a kill light. On day 2 Tomas got him a spring gobbler. We ended up with 4 hogs, a turkey, a rattlesnake, and a mess of coons. We had a great time and I definitely recommend Bob and Pecan Creek's 4 Oaks Ranch.

And I forgot to mention that one of the guys got a mean case of scope eye that night I got my 2 hogs. We gave him crap all weekend. I definitely got the hog hunting fever!
