Ya'll slow up there? We are here in San Antonio. We had a small hail storm just before Thanksgiving that brought some business in. Unfortunately we saw a massive number of storm chasers scoop up a large amount of our business. In fact, so much that, our company and 12 of the other large roofing companies here in San Antonio have teamed up to create an escrow account to fund advertising for all of us, should this happen again. We're going to advertise to keep the money local and trust San Antonio based contractors, in hopes to run out some of these fly by nights. I'd say 85% of the work we normally would have gotten was taken by Quick Roofing and Heritage, two professional storm chasers.

Have you heard about the GAF Lifetime release yet? The normal 30 year shingles are now Lifetime warranty, at the same price. Its been a great selling point for us down here. Not to mention it qualifies them for a Lifetime, non-prorated, warranty. If you're a certified or master elite installer for GAF the warrnaty is free for the next 3 months.

Mark did my roof. He came out to do an inspection after the adjuster said there was no damage. He sent an email to my insurance company about what he found and then met the adjuster out there. He showed them the damage and got my claim rolling again. In the end Mark did a great job and took care of me and all at fair price. I had some insurance issues and the process got drawn out but he hung in there.

Mark is in the process of doing my new metal roof. Looking good so far!!! And he's doing a great job dealing with my father-in-law which is not an easy task sometimes!!!
