I'm sure a dedicated bow shop may have a bit more knowledge and bows to test. But in my case, too far to drive.

The drive is worth it. I would not let any box store look at my bow, much less touch it. The 2 bow shops that I go to are 50 and 60 miles form my house. I wait until I need several things done or Im already int he area before I go. I know the drive is well worth my stuff being right. I dont have to worry about them screwing my stuff up.

At least you didn't shoot the Extreme Tactical! It's even higher.

I looked at one but don't really like the carbon coloring on the limbs. My favorite color is camo limbs and black riser but it's the same cost as the tactical to do that

Look at the PSE Dream Season EVO. They have an option with camo limbs and a black riser at the same cost(which can be found a little cheaper than the Z7)

How would you compare it to the Z7

It will prolly be one of the best bows for 2011. I havent shot the Z7 so I dont know how it compares. I know that the Z7 is an AWESOME bow and I know That PSE is cranking out GREAT products right now. I dont think you could go wrong with either. It is all up to what fits you.
