I would like to congratulate UTAhunter on a great hunt last night. He was able to kill nine hogs in one night by himself. This guy can flat shoot.   Dark Moon Guide Service

We use 6.8 spc and 308 both. UTAhunter was using a P.O.F. 415 18" in 6.8 spc on these hogs last night.

Well, first off I want to say thank you again to Clay and Andy at Dark Moon Guide Service for putting me on a great hunt. They gave everything they had and went above and beyond the call of duty to put me on hogs. If you want to go on a night vision hog hunt, choose these guys. They are knowledgeable, they have excellent equipment and know how to maximize its potential, they have an enormous area to hunt on, and most of all, they are fun guys to spend a hunt with. As someone who waits for most of my shooting (ducks, deer), this kind of spot and stalk is a an unfamiliar experience, but a massive amount of fun. Since we drive around in a truck, it's also a very comfortable hunt that nearly anyone can do.
During the five hours we actually hunted, and I called the hunt early because of a long drive, we saw at least 75 pigs in five or more groups and heard several more. I have no doubt that under any almost any weather conditions, these guys will get you close shots at hogs. I'm definitely planning on going back with some buddies that will be easier to convince now that they've seen some of these photos. If anyone has any questions about Dark Moon, just shoot me a pm.

It is a 3/4 truck! We didn't weigh them all but we guessed over 1250# of bacon on board.
