This is my favorite... " Ryan Kiefer admiring the beauty of the high mountain meadows, wishing he was born a hundred years ago." When the elk population (what he seems to like to hunt the most) was almost extinct in Colorado and animals had to be reintroduced from Yellowstone...

Fact is 100 years ago people with your mindset dident exist you ever seen jerimiah jhonson ? The real fact is that 100 years ago whitetail deer were becoming a threatened species. But that is ok because there wasn't high fences I guess....

Fact is 100 years ago people with your mindset dident exist you ever seen jerimiah jhonson ? Interesting... Really? I saw that movie... (seemed it was spelled differently) and he always tended to trap out a valley and move on... with no respect for the overall propagation of species... It's sure lucky people like me came along (we were called gamekeepers in the old world) and made sure people like YOU didn't wipe out all the game we had. (and yes I realize this guy is just trolling... but I'm bored and procrastinating sleep before a long drive to the ranch and back tomorrow)

well at least since you don't like fences or private land, we will never have to see you down here in the great state of TEXAS. if you are trying to plug a website, at least make sure it is not from 1993

When I was growing up, hunting was about putting food on the table and no one knew what a high fence was. I find it to be pretty damn sad that a so-called hunter tries to berate another for not hunting the same way he\she does. Not everyone can afford to go out of state to hunt elk and a lot of folks don't have the time or money to buy their own land and hunt it. That doesn't make it wrong. Now it someone sits with rifle or bow at ready and shoots an animal coming out of a cage, then yes, that's wrong, but hunting a deer inside of a 5,000 acre fence is just as much of a challenge as a deer roaming the low-fence areas of Texas. This may be news to you, but most deer tend to stay in the same area, fence or no fence. FWIW, I'm NOT a HF advocate and generally dislike them, but I like hunting on either side...

of if a deer walks by just wait a bit because he'll have to turn around and come back by later. I think BMD came up with that quote. Since I hunt high fences there is no need for good shot placement. They aint going any where.

It is one of those foreign countries where they kind of talk funny. Looks like they also might spell a little funny.

I wonder if he realizes that hunting public land, is a burden on the taxpayers. The budget of the Department of Interior in in the billions so hunters and other users can use it. If the people that use the public lands, hunters, campers and the rest had to pay a fair market value for hunting public lands they wouldn't be so high and mighty.
