2. Bob-cat
3. 4 deer (across a 20 mile stretch)
4. One HUGE hog! Either he was bloated from the sun, or that was the biggest feral hog I've ever seen.
5. Gray Fox
6. Many raccoons, & skunks along the way.

This was a 2 hour trip each way. Saw everything on the way out, and only saw the feral hog on the way back.

Anybody else seen anything interesting on a road trip in Texas lately??

So when is the chili gonna be ready? grin

Not road-kill (yet) but on the way in to work Monday morning about 5:30 I saw something odd waddling down the shoulder on the left-hand side of the road. I had my window down so I slowed to a near stop to see what it was. It was a solid white skunk. I've only seen one other and it had been shot by someone. It was kinda' pretty, actually.

Tons of dead skunks headed from Lubbock back to Austin. It is always crazy for me to leave the Hill Country, I am used to seeing a dead deer every couple miles but once we got far enough NW, we did not see a single one. I think we counted nearly 40 rd kill deer one time from Austin to San Marcos taking RR 12
