I pic up a new Lens and Battery for my camera on Friday and couldn't wait to take it out and shoot with it. I knew of a spot holding thousands of birds and it wasnt too far off the road. My cousin and I heading out Saturday morning to try and get a couple decent pictures of some ducks.

Well the ducks would never come into range for some crisp clear photos of them, but still had a good time watching all the action.

Thank you everyone! I think I had as much fun watching and shooting photos of the ducks as I do hunting them. I was able to hit a couple spots yesterday and snap some photos of ringers, gaddies and a spoon. Should have those posted up later after work.


I am shooting my older Canon Rebel 300D. I have used it a lot since 03' but it's time to upgrade to a Rebel T2i with 18 MP

The lens is a Canon 70-200 f4 L. This lens is amazing and the auto focus is super fast. Later today I'm am going to order the Kenko Teleplus PRO 300 DGX 1.4x Tele-converter. That will push the lens to 280mm
