Been a rough season for me. That is the first post I have read on the forum in a long while that made me laugh out loud.
Thank you sur.

Hebbronville 2 yrs ago. Unless my hunting party is pretty small I'm only shooting on half the coveys or so which means we'd have to be finding quite a few more birds.

At the end of the day they ask to go home with me and try to load in my truck. Beau who has not had the chance to hunt yet ask me if I would adopt him.

Chet problem is that his dogs are so well trained that when they point you would think they have super glue on their feet. If he had dogs like mine that bust 90% of the coveys they find when you are within 20 yards of them then on his first second and third shot the birds would be 20, 21, and 22 yards away.

It's like I put a move on Mike Tysons girl friend, that beating couldn't be much worse then the beating I'm taking in this thread. I guess I'm off to the skeet range, got to get my swerve on. walking

last limit was in 2005 as well - every hunt since has been max of one limit between two hunters, more often than not it's about a half-dozen. At this stage in the game it's just dog work when we go out.

Last one was the last time I was down at the ranch in Laredo in early January. Limit of Bobs several days in a row. Also had several limits on each trip down in December.

I think Billy should have added over dogs, or without grain.

A limit is a limit. That's the way south Texas senderos are.
Hey Goldstein, do y'all use dogs?

Several in the early 90's Foard county when I was in school. Haven't seriously quail hunted in the last 10 years or so.

We occasionally run dogs, but most of the time we do not. This country is THICK, and I have seen many dogs last a quarter of the time they usually do.

Hey Billy, Ron called while you were shopping. He said that you two found 11 coveys, on the Spade ranch, and that you shot a double.
