I do the whole gun in olive drab first.
then alternate with just little bursts of tan, brown and black
using leaves and twigs

they hold up surprisingly well

use Krylon camo paint, it dries WAY faster than the Rustoleum brand.

If you don't like it, just spray the gun with brake cleaner and a lot of paper towels, in maybe 20 minutes you can have it back to original condition. No harm, no foul!

And really, you can just reapply here and there as needed or if you want to change it up a little bit.. no need to start completely over.

Just mask off the areas you don't want sprayed
