I am!!!! It's been a few years since I've been spring turkey hunting, & I'm on a pretty good lease. I just have to find where they're roosting without wandering into anyone's stand area..

If all goes according to plan, the last week in March I'll be in Mountain Home, TX. April 1st I'll be either in Sabine or Newton trying to take an eastern. The 2nd weekend in April I'll be hunting in Menard, TX while on a speaking engagement. If I have any tags left I may try a few spots in the grasslands.

I'll be sitting against a big pine or oak tree in Alabama. Our season will have been in for 2 weeks and the hens will have started nesting. Some of our best hunting starts the first week of April. Especially towards the last of the week.
This river don't go to Aintry.

I am going the opening week of Season in Mississippi this year, try for a goos Eastern or two then come back for the Rios. Bama1416 what part of Alabama are you in?

I'll be in Emporia Kansas...since I live up here in Kansas now. Hopefully going to get my first Eastern. Gonna have to wait a little longer than you guys though. Season starts April 13 here.

me and a buddy of mine have birthdays on the 6th and 7th in April. We always go out to the ranch for a spring turkey hunt celebration. I won't say we always have a ton of success, but it's the effort that counts.
