Who is this "pintailman"? There is only one Sprig Commander in the state of Texas.

Rocky..Got to hunt 4 yrs ago out there with my brother Dennis....Never forget we were the only one hunting that morning and Jack followed us out to the blind AGAIN after taking him back to the lodge 2 times...Finally we gave up and he went all the way out again with us to the south end..looked for a single teal for 20 min before he found him submerged in 2 feet of water....Im sure those pups will be just as good!!!!Sorry for your loss....He was truly a Duck dog!!!

Lost my 5 year old girl during the split this year too man. Collapsed at my feet in the living room. No running around whatsoever so best guess was heart related as well. Still hunted the second split but cried like a baby that first morning without her. Sorry for your loss.  Rest easy girl...

He loved to hunt and retreive! Those pups should be great. Getting 2 of them now. A Black Male-just like BlackJack and I am going to take him to the same trainer BlackJack went to. Then we will get a Blonde Female just to be the house dog with a occasional hunt.
I sure miss my BlackJack!

Sorry for your loss, my lab died earlier this month and we dont know what from. Just found him the next morning, makes me very sad not to know what he went through at his time of death.

Yes it hurt very bad! I will say the only thing I am happy with is that it happened very quick so he did not suffer!
