Of the 34 ducks I got this year, there were a couple of real memorable moments, but I guess if I had to call "best" it would be this banded redhead drake that landed in my repaints the last day I hunted in the season:

I would have to say my best bird of the year was the magnum Goose taken in Oklahoma while hunting With Delta Waterfowl's Brock Williams during the THF hunt Whiskeyandme put on this year. Taking a triple of bonus Geese. Two of which with one shot was just awesome.   Dang that's a monster goose!!

I'd say the double banded redhead I shot this year. Followed by the Goldeneye.
Best hunt would be a three limit hunt with my gf.

Woodies might possibly be my favorite of the waterfowl group...so this hole is always fun to hunt and was probably my favorite for the year. (sorry, cell phone pic)  Here's what some of the drakes look like from that hole.  Awesome pic, wish I would have kept one of my woodies.
I'll take a Black Female every time.

This was a good hunt with some good buddies  But this hunt topped it off, Me and my buddies 2 man limit of ducks, 7 mallards 4 sprig and 1 greenwing, plus a sandhill and two roosters, afternoon hunt my 2 year old lab retrieved them all,my buddy is shown in the pic with my chocolate male Gauge

This is my best bag for the year and the kicker is my best bird for the year. Wow, that's a pretty good duck snob pic  About as close as you can physically come to all mallard drakes. Let me ask you a question, did you pick out that bill color in flight?

Let me ask you a question, did you pick out that bill color in flight? There were 2 of them in a pretty big group of mallards. They stood out from the pack quite a bit. I was lucky to get a drake!
