Since its a such a heated topic on this forum ask him about the effect of ars in east texas. Maybe ask him if there are any changes he would make to them.

It would take someone like him to talk in an educated way about how the AR's are effecting the overall hunting in Texas, and explain what the ultimate goal is of TPWD in his opinion.

My gut tells me he would dance around that subject kind of like a politician when handling that question, being the gentleman he is.

It still would be nice to hear a Aggie Wildlife biologist tell us the cause and affect now that it has been tried.
He should know the details we never hear about.
He's been around longer then any of the others too I bet.

Yep he would. Especially if you threw in the extra spike tag in the question!

Looks like the concensus was antler restrictions, but few people may know that he has been involved in many many helicopter crashes doing head counts on deer.

Double digit ones the last count in the mid 90's when he flew one for me once....had just had crash on take off on a survey the year before I had him do one for me.

Yep, that one in the 90's on take off is the one that gave him the back problems he has today. He walks with a walking stick a lot on hunts now because of it.

I would like hear his thoughts on Ar's and the ever growing problem with hog infestation in Texas.

I have a high opinion of Mr. Weishuhn.

Since Larry has added a scope to his pistol and a tri pod, he should just add a stock extension to that pistol and his hitting percentage just might improve!

Just recorded the interview with Larry. It will air this weekend. I have to say he is one of the nicest people I have encountered and he had a lot to say on AR's on management phiolosophy in Texas.

I think you guys will enjoy it.
