Pete is well known as the worlds leading authority on customised Howa Actions. The RH40 Series is based on the Howa 1500 action. This superb factory action has been the best kept secret in the world of Semi-Custom Rifles for a long time. Pete Lincoln changed all that and has given the Howa 1500 its well deserved position as one of the most tuned factory rifle actions available and it is still gaining in popularity. Few other factory actions offer as many features.
Forget the Remington 700, it still isn't as good as a basic Howa even after tuning !

Only a 1/2 MOA gaurantee? Tactical Operations takes Rem 700 actions and gaurantees 1/4 MOA. Try again.

Its one thing to be able to read an article...Its another thing to realize that this gentleman is going to embelish everything to sell his products/services.

And what features are those? And dont bring up what you already have. I have full confidence that you will have a googled answer in minutes! This is fun.

I thought barrel thickness, receiver and bridge ring diameter, bolt diameter, etc. contributed to weight. Now I learn I was wrong all along---it has to do with the all the cold hammer forging! Why if they kept hammering it to a FWT contour the damn thing would weigh 25 lbs.

Speaking of 25lbs I'm thinking you need to sign up on Benchrest Central and tell them all about the huge mistakes they've been making. I'm sure your reloading, gunsmithing and general gun knowledge would wow them out of their shorts.

I know you would like that.

P.S. How many customer's did you wow today?
P.P.S. I think this is really Framis, Oldman1942.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Trust me Vanguard, you dont want to start talking about custom rifles. There are more Rem based guns out there shooting ragged holes than everything else combined. There are also a lot of custom actions out there modeled after the 700.

Does it? Have you taken one off and weighed it next to a similar contoured barrel?
you cant compare it to an ADL at Academy...they have a smaller contour and the rifle balances different.

Not really. Amazing the breadth of stupidity in his posts, best part is it continues--kind of like the energizer bunny.

Can you imagine what he's like at the counter? Yikes.

I'd love to know what Academy you work at? I actually have a pretty good guess at who this is...
