Well if no one is going to speak up, im thinking the first of April is the quickest i could do it. Got to many big hunts trying to be in and putting on another March 19, then taking a bunch of guys Javi hunting the last week in March so first part of April works for me. Any complaints?

If you guys want to set up a mini hunt and are willing to come out to west Texas I would be up to doing something on our place out by Van Horn. Its roughly 45,000 acres with plenty of varmints and predators running arround.

Not many roads so walking, hiking, is going to be the big thing!

I'm still in.
I've not done much varmint hunting but am willing to learn some new things and have some fun.

Food for thought, we could also set up something like they did in the migratory section just for fun....goes by online pics and honesty, we could make it run from feb-may or something.

I'd definitely be interested...would it be plausible to take pics of the kills with a newspaper from the weekend of the hunt?
If it ended on Sunday at 9:00 AM for example, we'd have to buy a newspaper ON THAT DAY, take a pic of it with THF written on it in big black ink with the date visible... rather than trying to get EVERYone at one location??

Im not opposed to a one location hunt...in fact it would be fun...but I think it would need to be centrally located to get the biggest turnout...

...just thinking out loud...

I'm all for a drive to Van Horn. Pretty country out there.

I'd vote for a contest other than a group hunt. If you get a lot of guys out in piece of land and all the dogs can hear from every direction they are going to figure out somethings up. On top of that your going to travel a lot of country in a short period of time with a lot of people.
