Must be an operator error cause it works fine for me. Don't worry JCB, I'll repost it enoughb so you can find it easily.

Here it is again:

I'm going to leave them with this:

*I* can shoot a Savage and make it group just like all my other rifles.

That does prove anything other than salvage doesn't shoot any better than a Remington.

Right, and nothing on the market shoots good enough to make me say, "Ew, POS Savage!"

Like I said earlier, if we get into modding, etc. You can mod a Savage just like any other rifle and make it good just like any other rifle.

I can also think of some damned ugly Remingtons.

Who would sink the kinda money it takes for a custom into an ugly arse savage, that would be like sinking 20k for a paint job on a Kia.

Because if it were just a matter of that, I'd own 30 Weatherby Mark V's in 30 different calibers.

But that's just boring. I like to try different rifles in different calibers just to have them for when I feel like using them.

Hell, I even have a TC Encore pistol in .308 that kicks like a damn horse and is good for damn near nothing. But, it's fun to shoot and I use it when I get bored with the typical.

That is why I also own a Savage.

I have no point of reference to say one is "better" than the other. I've never owned a bolt gun at all so I have zero bias here. My ONLY bias is in the interest of real world knowledge and experience so I don't claim anything other than the things ya'll are saying about the Savages are outright lies since NOBODY has provided one shred of evidence to back up their claims of Savages inferiority despite having contrary proof in yall's faces. If the're not lies, provide proof. It's pretty simple.

What my link proves is that these "inferior" guns beat yall's "holier than thou" guns. If you want to argue with that, then you guys are simply trolling the thread.

You posted a link of four dudes (two of which are possibly wearing jorts) that had a good day. I doubt the rifle was "stock" by any means. Maybe the spotter had a really go day. Obviosly that link was Salvage biased.

I collect damn near everything, it's a hobby.

I could sell you some ugly horses with some ugly saddles, some ugly cars with some low-output motors, and a hell of a lot of random shot glasses, coins, and electronics. hammer

Dude buy what you want, but there is a reason they are cheap and very few people invest money in using that action for customs! If you any rifle out of box it is crap shoot how it will shoot, bed the rifle, handloads, almost any rifle will shoot. I assure you all these factory rifles shooting factory ammo is not happening. I bought factory ammo 1 time for my 300 federal premium tsx, two boxes shot 3100 ft per second and other box shot 3195, too many differences for factory rifles and factory ammo, bed rifle, trigger job, and hand loaded ammo they will all shoot pretty good, but why invest the time and money in a cheap ugly rifle confused2

I don't know if their particular rifles were modded but they do sell the rifle on their website as a stock gun. Either way, all the guns they shot against have to meet the same criteria as the Savages so nobody has an advantage. I thought you would've know something like that. The bottom line is, the playing field was level on this day and Savage won. What the hell is to argue here?

youll never get it, you dont have to invest any money on a savage on anything, triggers good to go, factory floated, full aluminum skeleton and pillars on accustock, unlike yer beloved remington which needs to be built, trash everything and keep the action, ya thats a deal.

Are you going to bring a modded 700 to the range to compete with my stock rifle and call that a fair comparison?

Well, my rifle isn't exaclty stock but a $1000 Savage should shoot against a $1000 700 is all I'm saying.
