I don't think we dropped two atomic bombs on them so they could start making our rifles 30 years later.

brownings are nice, but I'ma pass on japaneese rifles

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Remington 700 SPS Tactical .308 with a skim bedded B&C Medalist A5 stock, Badger Ordnance M5 bottom metal, just picked up a new SWFA SS 16x42 scope the other day, my new Burris XTR rings and Badger Ordnance 15 MOA base will be delivered Tuesday and will be sending my bolt off to Kampfeld for a new tactical bolt knob and spiral fluting.

It's nice to hold and look through. Will know more when I get it mounted in my new rings and base and get my bolt back.

Here is a pic of mine. The top is my first deer rifle my father got me its a 788 in .243. Not just cause it's mine but its a very clean 788. The second I bought a couple years back and its a 700 in 25-06.

I love it and hate it. Works like a champ when it's really dark but not so well with ambient light. And if it's colder than 40 degrees forget it. They have just released the sub zero model but I have yet to see it in action. If you want to hunt at night when it's cold, bring some hot hands and you're good to go.
