Ruger LCP 380. Fits in my pocket. No holster is needed. Never leave the house without it. Please consider using a pocket holster. $12-20 can get you something like an Uncle Mike's size 3 or Desantis Nemsis to fit the pistol.

You just never know. You could possibly dis-engage the safety. Not to mention, I think with the LCP there is no external safety I have a Bersa that I carry in a pocket holster. It was cheap, and it keeps the gun placed upright in my pocket for easy removal should the situation arise.

I carry my LCP in a pocket holster and it is VERY comfortable. I carry as often as I can but work at a University so I cannot carry everyday like I would like to.

I carry when I can, but i work on a military installation and can't carry, or even have it in the truck, there. But, I do have my bow in the truck....for some reason it is not considered a weapon.....and I am glad of that!

I have had a CHL since the very first year it was available, but I have not been carrying. I plan on starting to carry now as I am getting a S&W Bodyguard 380 for Christmas, I hope!!

only had my CHL for about a year now,at first I tried carrying a Springfield Sub.40...I am not a big guy and even with a high end holster, I just could't get comfy. So it stays in the glovebox and i carry a .380 almost everywhere. Main times I don't is when I work since it almost always involves flying all over the USA each week. I don't get why anyone wouldn't always be armed any time they could be, turn on the LOCAL news some night and you will see several reasons why you SHOULD! stay safe.

If the bulk or weight of the gun bothers you find something light that you will carry. I've been checking out the Kahr CW9, it's light, thin and would be easy to conceal. The Smith airweights also fit in that category.
Next find a good holster that works for you. Plenty of options out there, just have to find what is comfortable for you.

I have had my permit for 8-9 years now and carry very seldom. The big issue is that I am a school teaher and you can't have them on school property, so I don't have much of an opportunity to carry. I would hate to loose my job because I forgot about it on the front seat of my truck.

I'm happy to see all the people with CHL permits and even happier to see that most carry their guns.
With CHL and Castle doctrine people are legally able to defend themselves and by means should.
I carry an SP101 in an inside the pants holster and its comfortable enough tucked in the small of my back.

If I'm off my property I'm carrying at least one gun. If you check the classifieds, you know that about every 3-4 months one goes away and another comes in. I am always in search of the "perfect" carry gun. I have a pocket .380, but I don't consider that a primary weapon. Not bashing them, I just prefer a larger weapon with more capacity. I've carried Glocks, S&W's (revolvers and autos), Kahrs, Kel Tecs, XD Subcompact and fullsize, 1911's, Rugers, Taurus, Bersa, CZ and a few others. I've also tried numerous different holsters, but I keep going back to Mexican carry, which is why I don't still have a Glock or XD. I'm hoping the CZ Compact that is on Santa's sleigh will be my ideal compromise.
But yes, it doesn't cost me anything to carry but it could cost me everything not to. That's how I finally convinced my father to carry his weapon- what are you going to do when somebody is threatening you and your grandson, grin em down?

Glock 21 in the truck console, kel-tec .380 in the door. When I am about to get out of the truck, in public, my can of snuff goes in the door and the kel-tec goes in my pocket. And that's EVERY time I get out of the truck in public.
There's no point in having a CHL, and a pistol, and never exercising your right to carry.

The only place that I wouldn't carry in the past was church but then the Wedgewood shooting happened in FW. Also, a few weeks later we had an unusual incident at my church. I carry my airweight .357 everywhere I go. Plus, I keep an extra gun and some speedloaders in my truck in case I need some extra firepower. I agree with Nathan, if you're not carrying because it isn't comfortable then find a gun that you can carry comfortably. First rule of a gun fight, have a gun. However, having a gun in the truck/car doesn't necessarily count.
