Not sure why, but I've noticed the same thing. Well, except for spoonies and teal... they love calling anytime anywhere.

That is true...but at the same time I have only shot one spoonie but it came in to a call. Teal are awesome to eat and awesome to decoy. The more I hunt the more I love those little birds grin

Hopedale...I don't know but it is as if they know? Might be the size of the water. I haven't hunted any public places that were small everything was backwaters of bigger lakes and the private places have all been either small tanks or flooded stuff???

I like how Hopedale gets blamed for all th egoofy questions rofl rofl

Yeah Judd that was me. Was having some issues with sticking that morning. I need to make the move to a single or learn to blow better. I actually hadn't had that much of a problem with sticking till Sunday. Maybe those cheap calls have run their coarse.

There wasn't anything wrong with your calling, matter of fact it was pretty dang good. I knew what was happening and thought it was funny but only because you bleep, bleep, bleeped the couple times it happened rofl

I talked to the guy I bought the Original from and he told me some changes to make to the reed and it sounds a lot better in my opinion. But both of them stuck on me that morning...single and double. I think it has to do with them getting wet from blowing them and then being colder.

I heard a trick is to put deodorant on the reeds but it didn't help me Sunday. It had before so maybe it's because I was laying on my back. I did throw a few F-bombs in the air and the ducks didn't respond to that either, lol. I might spring for a Daisy Cutter at some point.
