I know there was one in Wellington, will check tomorrow with a guy on our lease that hunted there, but I cape and peal the head and freeze the capes and keep my meat on ice until I get to Dallas. Where u hunting?

In between childress and paducah, had a guy tell me there was one up in wellington. I guess I will head that way after this hunt.

The moon is really screwing things up, saw two does and a buck about 30 min ago. All three were headed to bed up. May get out and come back at 11 or so

On those really cold mornings I've always found that deer move more once the sun is up good and warming things up. Usually 8-9AM the critters seem to move mo' betta'.

Yep but they were on the west over above bruce's stand, got out and had bull at 300 just not sure which side of fence the headed west over by carlos's stand

No kidding called guy on other side of ranch stalk worked just I was unsure of property line where I got to 300 yds and just figured take chances on seeing them again. Elk on deer lease that's a little unexpected to say the least

I know of at least 8 ranches in the area with Elk on them. Those Elk are getting popular. 2 places are right down the road from us and the Mill Iron.

Josh and I were zipping down to Hwy 256 headed home last year and he screamed elk. I told him dont be silly and he insisted it was one. Turned around and there it was 75 yards from the road, a large 6X6 and a couple of cows. He also said bear on the way home from Disney this summer. I turned around and went back and bigger than crap there it was a black bear on I-20 in Louisana.
