Well I hunt in trinity county an I been seeing a few bucks chasing does but I don't think it's rut cuz the bucks chase em a lil ways then stop way behind the does but it's realy hard to make a shot when they are at the other end of a cow pasture at least 300 yards away how ever I took a shot on a doe bout 200 yards I hit her n found blood but I couldn't find her which that by far was the longest shot I had ever made

If your dog is barking at the back door and your wife is yelling at the front door, who do you let in first? The dog of course. He'll shut up once you let him in.

Bucks still mostly running together in McCulloch county. Very little rutting activity. Had eight bucks around a feeder on Saturday afternoon.

Young bucks chasing in Wise as well, but does didn't seem too receptive. I think it's a week out for us. Would be typical since I really can't get out next weekend.

Hamilton county pre rut or full rut. Bucks were going crazy and the does were out of breath.

I hunt in Hamilton county north of Pottsville and mills county near caradan. Definitely more activity in Hamilton county. Lots of young bucks out. Can't wait for this weekend! Should be prime

Affirmative!! Hunted southern Hamilton County this past weekend, and had bucks chasing does like crazy. I even rattled in a big mature 4.5/5.5 8 pointer.

I am still seeing bachelor groups in Bandera County, but did see a good buck fight Saturday morning. I dont think it will be long if we get a cold front with some moisture.

Bucks on the move in Kendall County, checking the feeders, but the does aren't quite ready yet. I'm betting that the rut kicks in to full swing by mid-month.

Coke county is close. Had bucks following downs but would only run them out of the feeders.

Nolan county appears to be in a pre rut. The bucks were hanging around, but the does wanted nothing to do with them. Saw one small buck chase off three does so he could have the food plot all to himself.

coffee spelled backwards is eeffoc. I don't give eeffoc until I have my morning coffee.

I didn't see a single buck with does in Crosby county. I either saw bucks or does. Buddy of mine shot a nice 9pt in Foard County which was hot on the trail of 3 does.
