Never been to a camping world. I prefer Dick's to be honest.

I like pedastal mounts but have no room for them at the time. I actually have my biggest deer sitting on the floor needing a pedastal , but I don't want to fork over the coin for a high dollar pedastal.

Never seem one with his horns laid back sort of on his neck and his nose up, but I have seen them running through the brush like that. Would be sort of like a bugling elk. Would be good for a room that did not have high ceilings.

You might also have a good looking mount if you had the Axis buck posed in a hard turn with the tip of the horn touching the part of the neck agaist the wall. It would look like he was scratching his shoulder with the tip of his horn. You could put this mount in the corner of a room and still be able recognize it for the good buck that it is. Sometimes corner space in a trophy room is wasted with mounts that you cannot tell how good they are because the animals are mounted forward and you cannot stand in front of the mount because of the wall. It would be different.

Here's my pedestal mount. No regrets at all. I'd actually like to add a "pedestal" to it so I can move it around, but I haven't gotten around to that yet.
