Yes I guy bet me a hundred I couldnt shoot a prairie dog with my bow. So I said ok and to make it fair I will shoot it from 70 plus yards. I shot it at 73 yards. I promptly put up my bow and my never shoot it again in front of that guy. Dont want to ruin my legacy.

What ever your max yard is dont set a pin past it. It will only temp u to take a longer shot than u want if HE ever shows up.

Two pins - 20 and 40 yards. I have never understood why anyone would want more than two pins. Is it really necessary to have all those pins set at 10 yard increments? What is the point?
I like not having to look through all those pins and trying to figure out which pin is which in the heat of the moment.
Mathews Z7 Bow for Whitetail and Hogs Remington R-15 .223 REM for predators I also like to "hunt" sporting clays with my Benelli SuperSport!

You would be surprised at the difference there is in 20 and 40 yard shots, around 15-20 inches of drop on a lot of bows. I can see where it can get excessive with a wad of pins to look through thought. I have 20-30-40-50-60 pins. Only have the long range mainly for elk hunting, because they have a much larger kill zone than a whitetail. Main thing is practice, and being comfortable at whatever distance you are planning to shoot.

Single pin adjustable sight, Marks set from 20-80yds. will shot hogs and such in 60-70 yds, 80 just for hitting targets. Like stated before the long shots help make the short shots seam easy.
