If you live close enough to Ft. Worth and have quite a few you can take them directly to the slaughter house. Call (817)980-3125 P.S. C&L in Cherokee county is closed

FYI Your not supose to keep live feral hogs more the 48 hours and do not turn them loose. If you really want to know what you can and can not do Call TAHC. If you need a number left me know.

I am in MAxwell, btwn San Marcos and Lockhart. Have 20-30 maybe more hogs going in a corral trap for a few weeks now. Am going to trap them is there any approved buyers close that can pick them up once I catch them? I don't have any way to deliver them. Or what do I do with them once I catch that many?

I'm not a buyer, but I can come and pick them up for you. We'll stick them in a pen and process them at about 3 a day until they're all on ice.
EDIT: It was pointed out that I failed to mention the pen I would be holding them in is resting on a trailer that has been modified specifically for the transport of large numbers of hogs.
Unless TAHC has changed anything since 2009, when it became legal to sell boars to game preserves, ie. hunting ranches, then the regulations that were posted below are still in effect.
I certainly appreciate the concern, but in the transport and slaughtering of hogs, I assure you, I, nor the few people that work with me, are doing anything illegal in the eyes of Texas or TAHC.
Thank You, John
EDIT AGAIN: Deleted part of the previous edit, waiting on verifiable evidence that I'm doing something wrong when TAHC and the local GW's say I'm not.

Slightly illegal there possum, one cannot move live feral hogs from the property they are trapped or caught on unless they are going directly to an approved Texas Animal Health Commission Holding Facility or a TAHC processing plant.
