Yes 16 feet long by 34" high.
6 panels Minimum. My biggest pin is 8 and I have photos of 7+ deer in the pin.
You will need 12 t-post for 6 panel pin. 1 t-post for each end of the panel and 1 in the middle of each panel makes 12.

If you make them square you would essentially have a 32' x 16' pen with an area of 512 square feet.

If you make them round the area increase to 733 square feet and approximately 30 ft across.

If you make them round you have more area for the deer to feed and IMO a deer is wary to walk into a corner to feed. That doesnt mean I have not seen them do this, it would just be more practical to go with round.

To build a round pen there are a couple of ways. Method 1 Prop all of your panels up and allow one square from each panel to overlap. Wire them together and continue until you have a circle and then it can be adjusted however. Drive the posts in on either side and done. Method 2: A 6 panel (16ft panels) will have a raidus of 15 feet. Put a stake in the ground tie a 14' (room for overlap) piece of rope and walk a circle with spray paint. Put the panels where the paint is.

Method 1 is much more pratical, but I like math. I have done both ways but go with method 1.

Still trying to decide on 6 or 8 panels, but will definitely do the biggest I can afford.

Bigger is better. Also note that if you sign up for Tractor supply stores junk email they sometimes send you a 10% of coupon. Panels run about $25.00 a piece but worth every penny. Just FYI.

If you go to 8 panels the area increases to 1256 square feet and will be 40 feet across.

7 panels is 961 square feet and 35 feet across.

Bigger is definately better.

8 of the 16 foot hog panels would be as few as I'd go. I used 10 and it makes a nice big circle. We just put a stake in the middle & measured using a piece of wire 1/2 the diameter of the pen (Just over 25 feet). This gave us a nice, even circle.

Start by setting the first T post using the measuring wire that's wrapped around the center stake, attach your first panel, move the wire to the center of that panel, set that post. Move wire, set post.... & repeat until done. It goes pretty fast.

We used 10, 16 footers for 160 feet around. Divide by 3.14 gets you roughly 50.9 feet in diameter. We used a piece of wire just over 25 feet (Radius) so the last panel would overlap just a bit. You need 20 posts, one set every 8 feet.

The last panel is positioned so you can get the truck backed up to it. This last panel has a piece of pipe centered and hammered into the ground a couple of feet, almost flush with the ground. The center T post fits in it to allow this panel to be removed easily to get the truck backed up to the protein feeder inside.

Yea, I know it sounds complicated, but it worked out well & went up fast!

We use a combonation of the 52" cattle panels and the 34" hog panels and then cut the t-post off on the hog panels to make them the same height as the hog panels.
We use 10-12 panles in total to make the feeder pen as big as possible. I have pictures of as many as 9 bucks in our pen at one time.
Deer just will not compete with hogs and the panels allow them to feed in a protected type area.

Seems like some overthinking going on. These things are not difficult to build....and you don't need to overdo it either.

If you can get by a McCoys they are almost always cheaper than Tractor Supply. The 16 footers are regularly $22.99 and they are on sale right now for $19.99.

cattle panel works great finally built one around my feeder got tried of fixing it from the cows getting to it no problems yet i would do it if i was you.
